Two packs of 36 illustrated cards to introduce information about the Victorians and their many inventions to children and adults. The ideal history teaching resource for primary schools and home educators.

The aim is to place all cards in the correct order from Start to Finish to give a timeline of events and information on the Victorians and 19th Century inventions.

Match the information from one card to the next using the illustrations as a guide - similar to playing dominoes but with only one correct matching card.

Choose to play individually, in small groups or by involving the whole class (for ideas on how to play see our website page ‘How To Play’).

Histominoes are great for:- introducing an historical topic; embedding learning; a plenary activity; as an SEN resource; kinaesthetic learners; home-schooling; and also help to develop other skills such as turn-taking, motor skills, spatial awareness and reading.
